During the interims between regular legislative sessions, various committees meet to work on studies passed during the session, oversee activities of state agencies and propose legislation for the next session.  The Montana Taxpayers Association monitors many of the interim committees. 

The committees are staffed by the Legislative Services Division.  Most of the materials prepared for each meeting are listed on each interim committee's website.  Our website will have copies of materials that were not included on the main website.

Meeting dates for the interim and other important meetings are listed on our calendar.

Legislators are asked to rank the various study requests shortly after the session ends.  These Studies are listed here.
